Depok-Massive changes to the digital era have a significant impact on people’s lifestyles. Digital devices bring comfort and convenience in various aspects of life, such as online shopping, digital entertainment, such as streaming music and movies, as well as convenience in accessing various services and information through mobile applications. Digitization is also affecting social communication with the emergence of social media and instant messaging platforms that allow people to connect and interact more easily, even across long distances.
Without exception, banking digitization also follows trends and there is a high public need for digital banking accessibility. Digital banking services such as mobile banking and internet banking enable customers to access accounts, transfer funds, pay bills, and track their financial activities in real-time. In addition, banking digitization can also increase security and efficiency in conducting financial transactions, with security features such as two-factor authentication and data encryption.

Seeing the development of digitization in the banking sector, students of the Creative Business study program, Vocational Education Program, Universitas Indonesia made an industrial visit to blu by BCA Digital on May 15, 2023. During the visit, students were invited to get to know the history and development of blu by BCA Digital. Giovanni Angel Wudianto, S.M., Business Partner of PT Bank Digital BCA, said that blu is a mobile application or electronic banking service from PT Bank Digital BCA (BCA Digital) which was developed to make it easier for customers to make financial transactions online. All bank transactions and services can be accessed easily via mobile phones. He added, “blu by BCA Digital has several values that are upheld in running the company, including customer focus, integrity, agility, relevance, collaboration growth, excellent, and impact.”
Apart from that, Creative Business students are also invited to do an office tour at blu by BCA Digital. They were introduced to the work processes that occur in the company. Vindaniar Yuristanda Putri, S.I.A., M.M., lecturer in the Financial Technology course as well as accompanying lecturer during the visit, hopes that Creative Business students can learn many things from blu by BCA Digital. She said, “With this visit, students can learn that technology has penetrated into various lines, including the banking industry.”
