Depok-Web 3.0 is the next third generation of internet which allows websites and applications to process information with more massive use of technology. Web 3.0 technology is considered to have great potential to revolutionize the way society interacts. Apart from that, web 3.0 technology also has the ability to connect data from various sources simultaneously so that the data can be combined using Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. Seeing this phenomenon, the Media Production study program, Vocational Education Program, Universitas Indonesia (UI), which has courses about artificial intelligence, virtual reality, media and technology entrepreneurship, as well as web applications and technology, held an industrial visit to one of the companies involved engaged in the financial technology sector, namely DANA Indonesia on November 20, 2023.

DANA has recently begun adapting web 3.0 technology to become a transformative platform for sharing data and analyzing information. DANA is one of the organizations that is part of the ongoing digital transformation that continues to strive to create future interactivity activities for the fintech industry. During the industrial visit, students were introduced to the DANA industry and the work processes within it. Qorry Seila Fauziah, Marketing Campaign Operation DANA Indonesia, told the history of DANA as one of the digital wallets that exists in Indonesia.

Apart from that, students were also provided with an explanation of marketing techniques carried out by DANA by Sharon Isabella, Head of Communication at DANA Indonesia; Gienzella Azizah Wibowo Putri and Mohammad Rafid Ediputra, Product Marketing Associate DANA Indonesia. They also shared various experiences while working at DANA. On this occasion, students were invited to tour the facilities and rooms at the DANA Indonesia office.

Head of the Media Production Study Program, Ngurah Rangga Wiwesa, M.I.Kom., explained that this company visit opportunity was given to students to get to know industry and technology which is developing increasingly rapidly. “We hope that Media Production students when they graduate will be able to adapt and be familiar with the use of technology before entering industry. Hopefully they can absorb the various knowledge received during their visit to DANA Indonesia this time,” said Rangga.
