Depok-Family Women’s Association (IWK) Vocational Education Program, Universitas Indonesia (UI) held a yoga exercise on March 24, 2023. The yoga activity was guided by Felizia Vidya as an instructor.
Felizia gave an explanation about the benefits of doing yoga regularly. She said, “Yoga has many benefits, which can change moods, thoughts, and maintain health. In addition, yoga can reduce stress, improve heart health, increase quality of life, flexibility and balance, increase strength, improve breathing, improve posture, lose weight, train the abdominal muscles, raise mood, and train concentration.”

Head of the UI Vocational IWK, Dewi Anggraini Padang, explained that the yoga activity was carried out to raise awareness for UI Vocational IWK members to prioritize health in order to achieve the 2023 Fit Vocational. “We invite women in the UI Vocational environment to start living a healthier and quality life. Not only that, this activity can also help strengthen intimacy, both lecturers, education staff, and other UI Vocational female academics,” said Dewi.
Yoga activities will be held every month. Not only yoga, there are many other UI Vocational IWK activities that benefit its members and the surrounding environment.
