Depok – Tax Administration Study Program, Vocational Education Program, Universitas Indonesia, in collaboration with the Indonesian Young Tax Community (IYTC), held another TAXACTION activity. This activity is a community service through free tax consulting services, especially Personal Income Tax Returns (Fiscal Year 2018) for the academic community in Universitas Indonesia and the general public.
“This activity was held from March 11-27 2019 with a roadshow system to the UI faculties and administration centers. We open consultation counters at that location and are open to the public. ” Said Arie Widoro, MSM, Head of the Tax Administration Study Program.
This activity sent dozens of student volunteers and lecturers to provide consultations about filling out SPT and E-Filing. “Volunteers are students and lecturers of the tax study program and colleagues from the Young Tax Community (IYTC). We are very happy because from year to year the visitors and enthusiasm of the community have increased. Hundreds of people were present at each consultation location, ”said Dodo.
TAXACTION conducts roadshows to all Faculties at the Universitas Indonesia and the University Administration Center located in the rectorate. As for taxpayers who come are expected to bring:
- Individual Taxpayers (WPOP) are required to bring an Identity Card, Family Card, and Proof of Withholding for all income received during one tax year
- Individual Taxpayers (WPOP) who own a business are required to bring a report on the results of their business activities
- Expert Obligators (Lawyers, Actuarial, Consultants, Appraisers, Doctors, etc.) are required to bring an attachment to the gross turnover every month for one tax year.
“Wow, I was greatly helped by this consultation because so far when I hear about taxes it feels complicated, now I just have to come and bring all the requirements and then get an explanation and immediately assist with the contents of the SPT and E Filing,” said Decky, University of Indonesia Education Personnel during the consultation. Decky hopes that this kind of activity can be maintained. “Hopefully there will continue so that we are focused and not mistaken in filling out the SPT” added Decky.
Vocational Education Program Universitas Indonesia provides education with a 3: 2: 1 curriculum where students will study theory and practice in the laboratory for 3 semesters, 2 semesters studying in industry and 1 semester of internship. The study programs at Vocational Education Program Universitas Indonesia, include Financial Administration and Banking, Adm. Insurance and Actuarial, Office and Secretarial Admissions, Tax Administration, Communications, Information and Document Management, Tourism, Accounting, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Hospitalization.
