Depok-Roller skates are not only liked by children, but also adults. At present, roller skating has entered into sports and is contested in national and international competitions. Many roller skate athletes come from various walks of life. One of them is Jurnalis Nurhakim Baharizki, a student of the Tax Administration study program, Vocational Education Program, Universitas Indonesia (UI).

Roller skates, according to Hakim, have their own uniqueness. “I like racing sports. Roller skates can actually be a medium for doing this type of sport. So that is unique for me,” said Hakim.
Armed with his interest in roller skating, Hakim then decided to become a roller skater up to college. Hakim has made many achievements as a roller skater, one of which is PON XX Papua 2021. In this sports competition, Hakim succeeded in representing DKI Jakarta and won a gold medal in the 1,000m category and silver in the rellay team number.

As an athlete, Hakim also does not forget the lectures he took as a UI Vocational student. Currently, Hakim is busy studying and practicing, so he needs to manage his time well. “In my opinion, the way to balance time between practice and lectures is good time management. So, roller skating training and lectures must be balanced. In addition, we also have to be able to set schedules and set priorities. Of course, I prioritize the most urgent between class schedules and practice,” said Hakim.
The biggest challenge as an athlete is preparing for tournaments. According to him, training, making the right strategy, and working with the team to prepare well are the main points in preparing for the match. In the future, Hakim plans to only enter the world of roller skating until PON XXI Aceh 2024 with a target of five gold medals. Furthermore, he wants to focus on the college for the future.

Hakim has several times made achievements in the field of roller skating, including 1st place in Speed Elimination 10,000m KU Junsen Men’s; Champion 2 Speed 200m ITT Junsen Men; and 2nd place in Men’s Junsen Relay at the 2022 Bekasi Open Regent championship, 2nd place in Men’s 500m KU Senior; 2nd Place 3.000m KU Senior Men’s Relay; and 3rd place in the Men’s 200m KU Senior in the 2022 Bantul Cup Regent championship, and 1st place in the 1,000m; 1st Place Team Sprint 500+D; 1st place in the 5000m TTT; 1st Place 3.000m Relay; and 1st place in the 200m DTT at the 2022 First Lady Cup.
