Depok-Students from the Media Production study program, Vocational Education Program, Universitas Indonesia (UI), carried out a company visit program to Masak TV, a video podcast and webseries channel which is a subsidiary of Tastemade Indonesia. Video podcasts or webseries produced in the form of videos about how to cook domestic and foreign dishes. This variety of content aims to provide videos for those who are entering the learning stage or are advanced in cooking.
The industrial visit which was held on December 4, 2023 was accompanied by the Head of the Media Production Study Program, Ngurah Rangga Wiwesa, M.I.Kom. Rangga explained that students can take a lot of experience, for example how to produce content, script creation, content research, editing, up to the execution stage. “Through this company visit, I hope that students can implement the knowledge received in creating creative content,” said Rangga.

Tastemade Indonesia is a franchise of the modern media company, Tastemade, which engages a global audience of more than 300 million people every month from various digital television, mobile and streaming platforms, reaching more than 2.5 billion views every month. Located in the Pulogadung area, East Jakarta, Masak TV has been around since 2009.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to tour the Masak TV studio and were introduced to the company’s five divisions, namely Research and Development, Producing, Editing, Social Media, and Partnership. After touring, students also saw the process of filming and producing Masak TV content as well as closing the company visit activity.
