Depok-Universitas Indonesia’s Vocational Education Program again held an online open house activity on Saturday, November 27, 2021 through Zoom Meeting and livestream on the official YouTube channel of the UI Vocational Education Program. This activity invited more than 20 senior high schools in the Greater Jakarta area and was attended by more than 200 participants including students, teachers, parents, and also the general public.
This open house invited several speakers, including the UI Vocational Education and Student Affairs Manager, Priyanto, S.S, M.Hum., Head of the Creative Business Study Program, Deni Danial Kesa, MBA, Ph.D., and representatives from alumni, namely Erica Ananda Putri – Tourism 2018 Alumni and Tania Aprilia Rahmani – Office Administration and Secretariat 2016 Alumni. This activity was guided by Barijani Mahesa Putra, a student of the 2020 Public Relations study program.
The activity was opened by the MC and continued with remarks by the Head of the UI Vocational Public Relations Office, Mareta Maulidiyanti, S.Sos., M.M. After that, the UI 2021 Vocational profile video and the UI Vocational Vocational virtual campus tour video was played to introduce UI Vocational to open house participants.
Furthermore, the UI Vocational Education and Student Affairs Manager, Priyanto, S.S., M.Hum. described UI Vocational in detail and how to enter UI Vocational. In this session, each study programs, facilities, certifications, and collaborations owned by UI Vocational were also introduced. In addition, the entry route that can be taken by prospective UI Vocational students is through the UI Achievement and Equity Learning Opportunity (PPKB) and SIMAK UI pathways.
After the presentation, the event continued with a talk showhosted by Barijani Mahesa Putra and filled by the Head of the Creative Business Study Program and alumni. In this talkshow session, the Head of the Creative Business Study Program introduced the study program and its future prospects. In addition, the alumni also shared their experiences while studying at UI Vocational, as well as their experiences when looking for work with their associate degree.
Then, the activity was closed with a message for prospective UI Vocational students by the Head of the Creative Business Study Program and alumni, as well as a group photo. With this open house activity, it is hoped that prospective students can get to know more about UI Vocational and how to enter it.
