Bintang Mukhammad Burhanudin Akbar, M.M., a lecturer in the Physiotherapy study program, Vocational Education Program, Universitas Indonesia (UI) developed Gula Rangrang – Highly Nutritious Fortified Coconut Sugar. Gula Rangrang is very good for use in various beverage mixes, such as tea, coffee and ginger. The main function of the product can be used as a safe sugar substitute to maintain and care for body health. The production activities of rangrang sugar involve various components of society, such as coconut farmers, craftsmen, and academics. This is intended to create a sustainable ecosystem in order to produce quality products that are acceptable and useful for the market. Through this product, Bintang succeeded in achieving UI Incubate in 2023 and developing its products.
