On Monday, February 12, 2018 team 1 representative of BEM throughout UI departed for Asmat together with ACT. Then arrived in Agats District, Asmat Regency the next day. The representatives of BEM throughout UI who departed, namely Idmand Perdina (FCS 2014) as vice chairman of BEM UI 2018, M. Faizal Haq (Vocational 2016) as chairman of BEM Vocational UI 2018, Diana (FIA 2016) as General Leader of UI Student Voice, and Aulia Fitriani (Vocational 2017) as Deputy Deputy Deputy Superintendent of Social Affairs of BEM Vocational UI. 
Some of the activities carried out while there included the distribution of rice to several villages in two districts, namely Kampung Ayam and Kampung Waw Cisau in Akat District, as well as Kampung Ewer and Kampung Jew in Agats District. In addition, as a form of long-term assistance, a team of volunteers from BEM throughout UI has provided trauma healing to children in Asmat which is more conducive to improving their psychological condition. This is done in order to give cheerfulness and optimism to those who have just recovered from malnutrition and measles.
