Depok – Physiotherapy Study Program held a public lecture with the theme “Knowledge about ESWT and the Difference between ESWT and RSWT & ESWT Update for Urology Problem” on Saturday, February 29, 2020. Public lecture was held together with Mirjam Mayer, an ESWT & laser Product Specialist.
Mirjam Mayer explained the difference between ESWT (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy), which is a therapeutic activity to relieve pain using shock waves from outside the body. Meanwhile, RSWT or (Radial Shock Wave Therapy) is another alternative with advanced technology using radial shock waves.
In addition to explaining the material, Mirjam Mayer directly practiced ESWT and RSWT with Physiotherapy lecturers and public lecture participants.
