Depok-Digitalization in the next 20 to 30 years will have a positive impact on society, especially in the media, entertainment, and content industries. As one of the universities that has a role in producing competent national children in various fields, the Universitas Indonesia (UI) Vocational Education Program through the Media Production study program has collaborated with many creative industries to compete, create, and innovate in the world, especially in media field. To provide a true creative industry atmosphere, the Media Production Study Program often makes industrial visits, one of which is to IDN Media on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Not only Media Production Study Program, other study programs, such as Public Relations study program and Tax Administration study program also participated in the visit.
The IDN Times team who accompanied the UI Vocational students and lecturers explained the various programs covered by IDN Media. They also said that the program covers the areas of: content platform such as IDN News, IDN Quiz, IDN Live, Yummy, and Good Game Well Played (GGWP); commercial such as IDN Creative, ICE, IDN Event, and IDN Programmatic Out-of-Home; digital media such as IDN Times, POPBELA, POPMAMA, Duniaku, and FORTUNE; also entertainment by making JKT48 as brand ambassador for the music category program, and the IDN Pictures program for the film category program.
Head of the Media Production Study Program, N. Rangga Wiwesa, M.I.Kom., CICS, MIPR, said that IDN Media can help students recognize various types of media. “Media is not just one, it is very broad. Versatile in all things is needed in the industrial world. Media Production collaborates with several industries to develop suitable courses and students can directly carry out field studies,” said Rangga.
On the same occasion, the Head of the Public Relations Study Program, Mareta Maulidiyanti, S.Sos., M.Si., said, “IDN Media, which is also a collaboration partner for UI Vocational, is one of the right choices for students to study. and conduct work studies and internships to improve their competence in depth.”
During the visit, students were also invited to tour the room and the facilities in the IDN Media building. The attractive style of Millennials and Gen Z, which not only radiates from the design of the IDN Media office, but also a variety of contemporary digital content, is one of the attractions to attract young people to enjoy various content productions.
