Drs. Mohammad Riduansyah, M.Si was born in Barabai, South Kalimantan on December 13, 1957, married with 3 children. He studied at the Department of Administrative Sciences in Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Indonesia and received a scholarship for Academic Improvement Program (PPA) from Department of Education and Culture. Since he was a student in 1983, he was an assistant professor in the subject of Human Resources Development and Administration Ecology. After completing his Bachelor of Public Administration in 1987, he was immediately appointed as a civil servant (PNS) with the status of Permanent Lecturer in the Department of Administration and he is currently occupying the academic position with the rank of Associate Professor (IV-b). Throughout his career and served in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Indonesia, various positions have been entrusted by the Faculty Executive Board and the Executive Board. In 1988-1993, he served as Secretary Coordinator and member of the Program Office Administration and Secretary. When the Program of Diploma 3 in Division of Administration approved by the Executive Board of the Faculty and the University, he served as the first Secretary of the Program Diploma 3 that entrusted to him from 1989-1998.
In between his activities in developing the Program Diploma 3, he studied his master in Universitas Indonesia in 1993 with scholarship of the Ministry of Education and Culture (TMPD). After completing his master, he served as Secretary of the Graduate School of Administration (2000-2005), Chairman of the Program Diploma 3 in Division of Administration (2005-2008). When the Program Diploma 3 were united then became Vocational Education Program, he still served as Head of Study Program and since January 2012 the Executive Board commissioned him as Deputy Chairman of the Vocational Program until February 2014 . Other structural positions has also been believed to him as a member of Faculty Academic Senate (2007-2014), member of the University Academic Senate (2007-2011) and various positions in other committees; such as the Development Committee of Prajudi Building, Koentaraningrat Building, Selo Soemardjan Building and Vocational Building in University of Indonesia.
Although he held various positions, his academic career and the other subjects are never forgotten. Various studies and researches have been conducted with the theme of the regional administration, organization and management as well as urban and regional development studies, both individual research and cooperation with various private and government agencies. He has written in the journal as well as attending various seminars, discussions and national and international symposium.
