Elida was born and raised in Jakarta. She completed her primary education in elementary and junior high schools in Cikini, and her senior high school in SMA Negeri III Teladan Jakarta. Elida graduated in Medical Education from Trisakti University and completed the Education Specialist of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia. Elida also a Civil Service in Department of Health and earned Honors of Satya Lancana Karya Satya from President of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. H. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
In the field of Health Services, Elida had worked at Tangerang General Hospital, Department of Medical Rehabilitation in Cipto Mangun Kusumo (RSCM) Hospital in Jakarta, Metropolitan Medical Center (MMC) Hospital and as a consultant physician in Jakarta. In education field, since 1996 Elida began as a Lecturer in Medical Education and worked as a Coordinator of Medical Rehabilitation in Bachelor Program and a Lecturer staff of Specialist Medical Education Program in the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia. Since 1997, she worked as a Lecturer staff in Physiotherapy FKUI in Diploma 3 Program and Head of Physiotherapy Studies Program in the Vocational Education Program in UI.
Elida is active as a speaker and keynote speaker in National Medical Seminar such as Konas PERDOSRI, PEROSI, Indonesian Rheumatology Association, Jakarta Diabetic Meeting, Diabetes Educators Association, Spine Society, Hemoifilia etc. She also involved in events such as Health Media TV and Health Magazine.
In order to improve the knowledge and skills, Elida often follow seminars and workshops nationally and internationally. Elida has been doing research entitled: “The Benefits of Ultrasound To Reduce Pain in Waist and Improve the Flexibility on Lumbar Osteoarthritis Patients’ and she also became research supervisor in Specialist Medical Education Program in Faculty of Medicine UI.
For community service, Elida went to the health center to teach students of Physiotherapy and Candidate of Specialist Physician and also a Consultant in Public Power Rehabilitation Programme, it is a program from community for the disabilities to be more independent. Elida is frequently a speaker at the social organizations seminar. Elida married to her beloved husband, Azmi Dardja Elida, he graduated from Waseda University in Tokyo – Japan. Elida is a Moslem who always ask God’s protection in her steps. Hopefully Elida is always protected and blessed by God Almighty. Amen.
