Depok-The Universitas Indonesia (UI) Vocational Education Program continues its efforts to support environmental sustainability by implementing water-saving technologies in various facilities. This effort is part of UI Vocational’s concrete steps to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly point 6 on Clean Water and Sanitation.
Various environmentally friendly equipment has been implemented, such as automatic sensor faucets, push-pull faucets, and water-saving flushes on toilets and urinals. These devices have been installed in all restroom facilities on campus.
Through the use of automatic sensor faucets, water flow can now be controlled more precisely, reducing waste. Meanwhile, push-pull faucets offer an efficient alternative, ensuring water flows only as needed. This initiative demonstrates UI Vocational commitment to building a culture of water conservation on campus and supporting UI’s vision of becoming a world-class green campus.
