Depok-The Universitas Indonesia (UI) Vocational Education Program has once again achieved impressive achievements, conferring doctoral degrees and the Makara Dharma Bakti UI award to lecturers and educational staff. These achievements demonstrate the contribution of the UI Vocational program’s academic community to improving the quality of education, research, and public service.

All of these achievements are also in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The increase in the number of lecturers with doctoral degrees supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) by strengthening academic and research capacity. Meanwhile, the award for the loyalty of lecturers and education personnel reflects the commitment to point 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), which emphasizes the importance of recognizing the dedication, well-being, and career sustainability of human resources in education. With the increasing number of doctors and the continued loyalty of the academic community, UI Vocational is increasingly prepared to face the challenges of vocational education that is oriented towards excellence, sustainability, and real impact on society.

The award was presented at the 2025 UI Vocational Capacity Building event held at the Indigo Hotel on August 18-20, 2025. It is hoped that the award will build a work culture that is increasingly productive, innovative, and inclusive so that UI Vocational is more adaptive in responding to the challenges of vocational education in the global era.
