Depok-Universitas Indonesia (UI) is holding the 2025 Vokasi Humas Fetsival (VokHumFest) with a main focus on empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through optimizing digital promotion. This event is part of the community service program implemented by the UI Vocational Public Relations (PR) study program.
VokHumFest has been running since 2015 and won the 2021 International Council for Small Business Presidential Award. The implementation of VokHumFest is organized by UI Vocational PR study program students with the assistance of lecturers and industry practitioners. VokHumFest will continue to grow and provide more concrete positive impacts to society, especially MSMEs in Indonesia.
The activity, which consists of promotional assistance with a digital public relations approach and talk shows since February 2025, has reached its ceremonial peak in the form of an MSMEs bazaar and music festival which took place at the UI Vocational Green Open Space.

Themed Creative Empowerment, VokHumFest 2025 is supported by several partners and sponsors to make the peak event a success in the form of a bazaar and music festival. “VokHumFest is real evidence that UI Vocational supports MSMEs in Indonesia and the implementation of the three pillars of higher education in the form of education and community service. We held a free talk show and bazaar for eighteen MSMEs actors at the peak event after students provided them with mentoring for four months to help develop their business promotions,” said Padang Wicaksono, S.E., Ph.D, Director of the UI Vocational Education Program.
Through VokHumFest, students produced various digital public relations materials such as social media content, websites, profile videos, catalogs, brochures, and news articles to increase positive public perception of eighteen selected MSMEs. The results not only increased brand awareness but also had an impact on sales. Roti Caniago, for example, saw a 70% increase in sales. Some who previously did not have social media became brave enough to open information channels on social media.

Fitriah, one of the Roti Caniago MSMEs actors, said that she was very happy to be able to participate in VokHumFest 2025. “Alhamdulillah, I can participate in this program. There are many benefits that I get, especially how to market my business online on social media, have a website for my business, and help create interesting content. The impact is that my business’s social media is getting better known, followers are increasing, and automatically turnover is increasing. A program like this is very good and can also be a learning platform for fellow UI Vocational students. Thank you UI Vocational for organizing this program and supporting domestic MSMEs,” said Fitriah.
