Depok, December 12, 2017 – The Accounting Study Program of the UI Vocational Education Program held a seminar entitled “MSMEs Upgrade” as a form of community service activities. Attended by approximately 60 MSMEs throughout Greater Jakarta, this seminar was divided into two sessions. In the first session, the material presented was entitled “Planting Business Image and Image in Society with Branding” delivered by Pietra Sarosa, M.S.M., as Managing Director & Lead Consultant of Sarosa Consulting who is also an accounting lecturer in the UI Vocational Education Program. Furthermore, the second session was filled with material entitled “Know Your Business from the Financial Side” delivered by Dede Suryanto, M.Si., Permanent Lecturer of the UI Vocational Education Program. This event ended with the signing of a Cooperation document between UI Vocational and several MSMEs. Later, the form of cooperation that will be carried out is the placement of Accounting study program internship students in MSME associations which will later help in calculating and bookkeeping matters related to the finances of these MSMEs.
