Prof. Dr. Ir. Sigit Pranowo Hadiwardoyo, DEA. is a senior lecturer (Class IV/d) in the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia (FTUI), he is also a researcher at the Laboratory of Structures and Materials FTUI for Road and Rail Road Studies. He graduated from UI in 1985 and continued his education at the Ecole Nationale des Travaux Public de l’Etat (FRANCE),Certificate d’Etudes supérieures, Economie des Transports, completed in 1988, then went on to a master program of Ecole Centrale de Lyon (FRANCE ), Diplôme Etude Approndise, Mecanique des Sols, graduated in 1989. His doctoral program pursued in 1999-2002 at the Ecole Centrale Paris (FRANCE), and obtained the Diplôme de Docteur, des Materiaux Routiers.
At the time of the inaugural of Professor of the Faculty of Transportation Sciences on December 4, 2013, Prof. Dr. Ir Sigit Pranowo Hadiwardoyo, DEA delivered a speech entitled “Empowerment of Road Feasibility Audit To Optimize The Role And Function of Road In Improving the National Economy”.
Throughout his career, he has published dozens of scientific publications to his research and published in seminars and national and international journals and has been active in the workshop, as well as members of the Association of Graduates of the University of Indonesia (ILUNI), Indonesian Engineers Association (PII), members and officials Indonesian Road Development Association (IRDA), board member of the Association of Professors Indonesia (API), Vice Chairman of the Foundation of Technology Development Indonesia (YPTI), Member of Commissioner Board of Professor of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, Vice Chairman of Vocational Higher Education Forum (FPTVI), and Vice Chairman of Further Education Comittee and Vocational’s Chambers of Commerce.
Apart from being an active senior lecturer since 1985, he served long enough in the administration from 1990 to 2014 at the UI campus began as Head of Laboratory, Head of Libraries, Head of Administration Faculty, Vice Dean for Administration and Finance, and finally as the Executive Secretary of the Faculty of Engineering UI. In his professional career, he served as a team of experts highways and railways in the EIA Commission of the Ministry of Environment and participate in the development of Campus UI Depok, his role as Project Team Leader in the field of roads and railways in collaboration with public and private institutions.
