Java Bali Overland (JBO) is a routine trip that must be followed by students of the Tourism Study Program specializing in the Vocational TravelProgram of the University of Indonesia to fulfill the final level of college studies. On the trip, all final year students will act as tour guides and tour leaders and practice using English. A tour guide has the task of explaining a tourist destination. On this JBO trip, the tour guide is divided into two, namely the local guide and Tour guide on board. An on-board tour guide is in charge of explaining the itinerary, travel route, passing sight and point of interest of a city or area that he is passing, with the position of standing in front of the bus ( on board guiding) is carried out from the morning the bus departs until the evening the bus arrives at the hotel. While a local guide is a guide who provides information about the places of tourist attractions visited. The Java Bali Overland Tour was held for 9 days and 8 nights, starting from April 25-May 3, 2014. In addition to fulfilling the final level of college studies, the Java Bali Overland trip is expected to be a provision for students who graduate from the UI Vocational Program travel tourism so that in the future they can become competitive people and be able to compete internationally.
