Depok-The Universitas Indonesia (UI) Vocational Education Program held a sports program for leaders as part of its efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle in the workplace. This activity was part of a series of events at the KITA Cabinet Coordination Meeting, which took place on Thursday–Friday, April 9–10, 2026, at the Aston Bogor Hotel & Resort.
During the event, UI Vocational leaders and staff actively participated in a zumba session. This direct participation reflects the leadership’s commitment to supporting the importance of physical health as a key foundation for creating a productive, dynamic, and competitive work environment.

This sporting activity has strategic value in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being). Through fun and inclusive physical activities like zumba, UI Vocational is committed to fostering a work culture that prioritizes physical and mental health as a crucial component to support optimal performance in a dynamic workplace.

The Director of the UI Vocational Education Program, Dr. Safrin Arifin, SKM., S.St., M.Sc., stated that this program is a concrete step in building a healthy and sustainable work culture. “We believe that physical health is closely linked to work productivity. Through sports programs like this, we want to create a work environment that is oriented towards performance and the well-being of the entire academic community,” said Safrin.
Furthermore, these sports activities won’t stop here; they will be held regularly every week on the UI Vocational campus. This program is open to all UI Vocational members, including lecturers, educational staff, and students, as part of an effort to build a healthy and collaborative work environment.

Previously, UI Vocational also had various regular sports activities for the academic community, such as table tennis, futsal, tennis, pickleball, and various other physical activities. This weekly sports program is expected to complement and strengthen the already established healthy lifestyle culture.
