Depok-Universitas Indonesia (UI) held the 2025 Student Achievement Appreciation, on June 13, 2025, at the UI Depok Campus Convention Hall. This activity not only celebrated the achievements of individuals, but also celebrated the spirit of UI students who succeeded in proving their quality and competence.
UI Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU, in his speech said that UI students, in addition to achieving, also need to increase their skills through involvement in Student Activity Units (UKM) or organizations. He said, “Students must know what they do or what contributions they make after graduating from UI. For that, make sure you know what impacts you can get from the organizations or activities you participate in on campus, both for your family and the surrounding environment.”
He also hopes that the achievements of students in academics, sports, arts, and community service, both at national and international levels, can be useful in the future. “We hope that these outstanding students can provide a positive impact on society both now and in the future,” said Prof. Heri.
The series of activities of “UI Student Appreciation 2025” began with the awarding of appreciation to UKM and UI students who succeeded in making achievements in the fields of reasoning, sports, arts and culture, to community service. Furthermore, from 17 Bachelor and Diploma students, UI selected 7 categories of Outstanding Students which were determined based on psychological tests, curriculum vitae, innovation ideas, and English proficiency tests.

However, I am very grateful, Praise God, to be able to be the champion. Hopefully this can motivate other student friends to be more enthusiastic about achieving.
