Director of Vocational Education Program, Padang Wicaksono, S.E., Ph.D, presented a certificate of appreciation for the Achievement of Senior Lecturer to Dr. Budiman Mahmud Mustofa, S.Sos., M.Si., Head of the Department of Applied Social Humanities, as well as a lecturer in the Tourism Business Management study program. Budiman is the first permanent lecturer to obtain the first functional academic position of Senior Lecturer in the Vocational Education Program at the Universitas Indonesia. Padang expressed his hope that Budiman’s achievement can be an example and motivate other lecturers. The functional position of lecturer aims to improve the quality of education, knowledge development, and community service, and no less importantly, the career development of lecturers. Padang also hopes that in the next two to three years, UI Vocational will be able to produce professors.
