In order to celebrate the 6th Anniversary, the UI Vocational Program held an Open Days Vocational event on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at the UI Vocational Program Parking Lot. The event which was held for the first time was themed “Together to Be the Best”. Present at this event was Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Anis, M.Net. (Acting Rector of the University of Indonesia), Prof. Dr. Ir. Sigit Pranowo Hadiwardoyo, DEA. (Head of the Vocational Program), Ir. Antony Sihombing, MOD., Ph.D. (Vice Chair of the Program for Resources, Ventures and General Administration), Dr. Dini Marina, SE., M.Comm., DEA. (Vice Chair of the Program for Education, Research and Student Affairs), the ranks of the Vocational Program Manager, employees, lecturers, invitees from BNI, CIMB etc., as well as Vocational students were present to enliven the event. The event began with a Fun Bike and Leisure Walk activity whose participants were all employees of the Vocational Program and Acting Chancellor of UI. The event was then officially opened by the Head of the Vocational Program, Prof. Dr. Ir.
Sigit Pranowo Hadiwardoyo, DEA. then continued with remarks from Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Anis, M.Net. Acting Rector of the University of Indonesia. Another activity in the Vocational Open Days event is the Education Exhibition, which is an introduction to educational programs and UI entrance routes. This activity presented information about Vocational Education delivered by students from 11 Study Programs at the booth that had been provided. In addition to the study program booth, there is also a book bazaar that sells cheap books, food and beverage vendor booths, and several sponsorship booths. In addition to the educational exhibition, there was also a Fashion Show for the 2014 Kartini Vocational Election for female students, then the announcement of the winners of the 2014 Mapres, the giving of door prizes, and entertainment events such as Saman Dance, Regional Dance performed by one of the Vocational students, as well as bands from Vocational students.
