Depok – Tax Administration students have held an “Opening Tax Competition” on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Vocational Auditorium of the University of Indonesia. The purpose of holding this activity is to accommodate the talents of Tax students throughout Indonesia. With the theme of the activity “Taxes for Us, We for the Nation” and the tagline “It’s Time to Build the Country”. The event began with remarks from the chief executive of the 2018 Tax Competition Riyan Ramadhan and Mr. Arie Widodo, SE, MSM as the head of the Tax Study Program. The last speech was delivered directly by the Director of the Vocational Program of the University of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Anis, M. Met. Then it was followed by a symbolic beating of the gong as a sign of the opening ceremony of the 2018 Tax Competition by all fillers. This event was entertained by a saman dance performance from SMAN 12 Jakarta and then a video screening about the service carried out by tax students to help the tax problems of the UI community. TC-UI or Tax Competition – University of Indonesia is a national taxation student competition in 2018 which is held every year by vocational taxation students of the University of Indonesia. This competition was held for 4 days from October 31 to November 3, 2018. The competition was attended by 29 participants from all universities in Indonesia with a total prize of Rp.30,000,000. Tax Competition participants from various universities including Gadjah Mada University, Trisakti University, University of North Sumatra, Telkom University, Brawijaya University, Bina Sarana Informatika, PKN STAN and many more. 1 Team consists of 3 Persons. Each University may send more than 1 team to participate in this competition. At the opening ceremony, a parade of participants of the entire team was held by coming on stage to introduce themselves. After that, participants are allowed to prepare their teams to take part in the competition which will start after ishoma.
On Friday, November 2, 2018, a workshop was held with material on Transfer Pricing Documentation with the speaker Adzka Fikri Fadhilah, Assistant Manager of Transfer Pricing Services at DDTC . This material explains how two companies that interact with each other will be priced by the seller and will be accepted by the buyer. Transfer Pricing Documentation as a tool to increase synergy between companies and shareholders.
