Depok – The University of Indonesia (UI) held I-Gov UI which took place at the UI Hall to initiate a meeting of five stakeholder elements or Penta Helix, which include the University, Government, Industry, Media and Society. I-Gov UI Expo 2018 consists of a series of workshops, talk shows, and exhibitions that will be filled by 14 faculties, 2 schools, vocational programs, ministries, government agencies, and also the police. Chief of General Staff of the Indonesian Armed Forces Admiral Didit Herdiawan read the remarks of the Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto where the existence of the I-Gov UI Expo 2018 opens up opportunities for cooperation with many parties to explore the potential that exists throughout the Indonesian region. Penta Helix is expected to build synergy to improve the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the fields of teaching, research, and community service. Currently, UI is focusing on efforts to downstream innovative products from UI lecturers and students. The goal is to be absorbed by the industry and answer the needs of the Indonesian people. This penta helix cooperation is also manifested in the form of the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (NKB) between UI and UIN syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Muhammadiyah Sukabumi University, Halu Oleo University, Al Khairaat Palu University, West Coast Regency Government, Sukabumi City Government, PT Suit Media Kreasi Indonesia, PT Binabusana Internusa, and PT Pakdok. Meanwhile, the signing of a cooperation agreement was carried out between UI and the Geospatial Information Agency regarding the sending of several members of the Geospatial Information Agency to become students on the UI campus.
In addition, there are a lot of stands at Balairung, UI, both from faculties, partners, SMEs and so on. Stand It aims to build partners from various parties. It is hoped that many partners are interested in building cooperation with various faculties, one of which is the UI Vocational Education Program.
