Tracer Study UI can be accessed via Smartphone

The Directorate of Career Development and Alumni Relations has been conducting the Tracer Study of the University of Indonesia (TSUI) online since 2010. TSUI is a study to track the footprint of alumni and obtain an overview of the transition situation from higher education to the post-higher education world, especially the world of work and the world of advanced education. TSUI provides data and information on learning outcomes , including a portrait of the transition situation from higher education to the post-higher education world, especially the world of work and the world of advanced education. Job waiting periods, the distribution of workplaces, and the alignment of both vertical (the alignment between job positions and education levels) and horizontal (between scientific disciplines and types of work), as well as information on the acquisition and use of competencies are key information for policy formulation regarding career development and improvement of inputs and learning processes. The data and information obtained from TSUI are also useful for students in planning their future. This information will greatly help students and prospective alumni to prepare themselves better. UI’s position as the best university in Indonesia is also inseparable from the success of its alumni careers. This year, TSUI uses new online research tools that are more user-friendly and accessible both through computers and smartphones. Respondents can easily access the questionnaire on various platforms , namely Windows, Mac Os, Linux, and Android. With this convenience, filling out the TSUI questionnaire no longer needs to be in front of a computer or laptop, and can be done anywhere and anytime respondents have free time. TSUI 2019 with the target of UI graduates in 2017 will be held in July – September 2019. Invitations containing questionnaire links and PIN will be sent via email, it is hoped that all UI graduates in 2017 from all levels (Vocational, S1, S2, and S3) and all variants (Regular, Extension, Parallel and International Class) can respond to the invitation.
