Depok – Located at the UI Vocational Auditorium, the UI Communication Vocational Program (Vokom) held a Talk Show “Don’t Be Afraid to Achieve Dreams,” which presented Pandji Pragiwaksono, Rosiana Silalahi and Dr. Olivia Ong. The activity, which was opened by the Head of the Vokom UI Study Program, Devie Rahmawati, was attended by more than 350 participants from various universities in Jakarta. “Balloons can fly not because of their color, but because of their contents. This activity is intended to fill the knowledge and experience of students so that they are ready to enter the industry and drive the economy. Based on the study of a person’s ability to set dreams and consistently achieve them, it will result in success. So dreaming and working to make it happen is important,” said Devie who studied in Swansea, England.

“Vokom students are students who consciously choose the major they take, without any dominant influence from their families. However, they need to be assisted by tactical strategies so that they are more ready to compete in the era of technology that will definitely change in three months. The presence of their idols is expected to be able to share tips to realize their respective dreams,” exclaimed Devie who won the title of exemplary lecturer in the Aspikom version in 2018. This hope was agreed by Rosi who said that young people have great dreams, just don’t know how to achieve them. “Positive energy, sharing experiences are important, so that students can be ready to compete in the industry when they graduate,” added Rosi, Director of News at the national media network. Meanwhile, Panji said that he is a person who not only learns, but also plays. Because playing is learning voluntarily. “We have to continue to learn. I myself never stop learning, even from fellow art workers, stunt up comedy,” exclaimed Pandji, who is an entertainer.

Dr. Olivia, the founder of Jakarta Aesthetic Clonic stated that students, especially UI Vocational students, must always never give up in facing all challenges.
