The West Jakarta DGT Regional Office as an agent of the Directorate General of Taxes collaborated with the Tax Center of Trisakti University and D’Generation of Tax Trisakti which is a student representative of the Faculty of Economics, Trisakti University, to jointly conduct tax education through the Indonesian Tax Champion 2016 activity, “Study Hard, Play Well, and Participate More” which will be attended by students majoring in taxation and other majors from various universities throughout Indonesia. This activity was held on August 8-11, 2016 at Trisakti University. The objectives of this activity are as follows: 1. Exploring understanding of Indonesian taxation and fostering the desire to carry out obligations as a Citizen, as well as providing knowledge about Tax Accounting; 2. Increase analytical power in the field of accounting and\/or taxation through proficiency and accuracy; 3. Fostering the spirit of sportsmanship competition as the basis for increasingly rapid competition; 4. Socializing the campus environment of Trisakti University to university students throughout Indonesia. Based on the provisions of the competition made by the committee, each university\/university can send a maximum of three teams, and representatives from the Vocational Education Program of the University of Indonesia sent 3 teams from the Tax Administration Study Program class of 2014, with each team winning 2nd, 3rd and 5th place. <\/p>\n
