The Physiotherapy study program is a study program that produces professional applied graduates who are able to provide services by developing, maintaining and restoring body movement and function throughout the life span by using manual treatment, movement enhancement, equipment (physical, electrotherapeutic and mechanical), functional training, as well as communication and education (PMK No. 80, 2013).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

To become the best Physiotherapy vocational education in Southeast Asia by 2025 by increasing knowledge and applied technology that is beneficial for the nation.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

  1. Organizing and developing an applied bachelor education program, a Physiotherapy study program with a competency-based curriculum that is continuously improved so that the resulting graduates are able to develop Physiotherapy services with service standards in line with international physiotherapy developments;<\/li>\n
  2. Organizing and developing quality, autonomy and accountability oriented management organizations and governance;<\/li>\n
  3. Developing a partnership network with various health service institutions, hospitals, related educational institutions, both domestically and abroad, as well as professional association organizations;<\/li>\n
  4. Provide useful and superior contributions to the community through community service activities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Competence of graduates<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>

    Become a physiotherapist with the title of Bachelor of Applied Physiotherapy who is able to design complete management of physiotherapy services, in the aspect of maintaining, restoring movement and body function throughout the life span using manual treatment, movement enhancement, equipment (physical, electrotherapeutic and mechanical), and functional training.<\/p>\n

    Physiotherapy is a part of health science which has areas in the areas of promotive (promotion), preventive (prevention), curative (treatment), and rehabilitative (Rehabilitation). Based on tracer studies, physiotherapy graduates have a maximum job waiting period of 3 months, and are immediately absorbed into government and private hospitals, as well as clinics that provide physiotherapy services.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
