Drs. Asrori, MA, FLMI. Was born in Yogyakarta, February 18, 1952, he spent his education from elementary to high school in Yogyakarta, and in 1972 he continued his bachelor in Business Administration and Commerce and Master of Administration in FISIP UI, then he continued his education at Loma Atlanta Georgia USA, he took the certification of insurance profession with a degree of FLMI.
Asrori started his career as an assistant to Dr. Hattari Indra, one of the founders of Program Diploma 3 of Insurance in 1988, he worked as Head of Human Resources Division in Tugu Pratama Indonesia in 1989-2000, and a Consultant in Jasindo starting in 2000-present, a Member of the Board of Experts in AMAI in 2000, became head of the Examiners Board for insurance agents in AAJI in 2010-2011 (certified), and became Chief Representative of the Malaysian insurance Institute from Indonesia in 1995-present.
As a senior lecturer, Asrori supports many courses such as Introduction to Insurance, Risk Management, and Reinsurance. Throughout his career, he has published a book / modules published by the Open University (UT) with the title “Learning Company” and “Introduction to Taxation” in collaboration with Prof. Tobias Subekti which is also one of the founders of the Open University
Quoting his words, Asrori said that the insurance industry in certification of professional competence is highly appreciated because it is stated in the Law of Insurance which is supervised by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and his career will be noted as well as incentives and career development which better than those who did not have professional certification in insurance field.
