9th Anniversary of the Vocational Education Program of the University of Indonesia
“9 Years of UI Vocational Work”
Monday, May 23, 2017 The Vocational Education Program of the University of Indonesia held an annual event, namely the commemoration of the 9th Anniversary of the UI Vocational Education Program with the theme “9 Years of Vocational Education UI Works.” This event was held at the UI Vocational Education Program Auditorium Building and was attended by the entire UI Vocational family, as well as inviting the Chairman of the National Professional Certification Agency, Ir. Sumarna F. Abdurahman, M.Sc. as a resource person in scientific oration activities. This oration raised the theme “Competency-Based Human Resources Development to Support Growth and Equitable Economic Development” inaccordance with the vision and mission of the UI Vocational Education Program, which is to produce graduates whose competencies are recognized and acceptable in the work industry.
Furthermore, UI Vocational officially collaborated with the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). BNSP Chairman Sumarna F. Abdurahman handed over a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to the UI Vocational Department. This submission is a sign that the UI Professional Certification Institute (LSP) license management has been accepted and processed.
The next series of events is the announcement of the Outstanding Student Award, Outstanding Lecturer and Outstanding Education Personnel. The highlight of the event was enlivened by the cutting of tumpeng as a symbol of the increasing age of UI Vocational.
