Taxation Laboratory

Head of Taxation Laboratory:  Fitria Arianty, S.Sos., M.Si.

This laboratory is to develop students more skilled and professional in the quality and quantity of the learning process which dominated by more practical activities. Lecturers and students spent their learning process in the laboratory / practicum. Curriculum of Tax Administration UI has provisions to accommodate the needs of professional and skills in the field of taxation on the middle level.

Administration of Taxation Studies Program has 43 existing courses, 15 courses with subjects of laboratory and Internship / Work Practice. 8 Subjects directly related to taxation, 4 subjects, and 1 subjects working practices.

Subjects in Taxation Laboratory, namely:

  1. Tax Article 21
  2. Personal Income Tax
  3. Potong Pungut
  4. Corporate Tax
  5. Value Added Tax (VAT)
  6. e SPT
  7. Local & retribution Taxes
  8. Taxation Simulation

Other subjects that support tax professional skills are:

  1. Introduction to Accounting I
  2. Introduction to Accounting II
  3. Computer Accounting
  4. Computer For Business

Subjects related to work practices are:

  1. Internships

Aim

  • Facilitate the learning process in the laboratory.
  • Produce graduates with the qualifications of skilled workers and professionals in the field of taxation at the level of middle and ready to work in the workplace.
  • Increase the competence of students and lecturers in the field of taxation.

Organization Structure

The organization consists of:

  • Responsible with job desk such as:

o Responsible for all aspects of the taxation Laboratory.

o Report all activities of the Laboratory to the Director.

o Evaluate the work of Managing Partner.

o Provide a decision on the proposal of Managing Partner.

  • Managing Partner / Head of Taxation Laboratory:

o Ensure the passage of teaching in the taxes laboratory.

o Coordinate the work among partners.

o Provide reports to managers.

o Provide intake / ideas to managers.

Partners consists of:

  • External Relations / cooperation, with job desk such as:

o Cooperate with outside parties.

o Marketing lab to the user.

o Promote the results of lab work.

o Serve as liaison taxation lab.

o Provide reports, proposals to the managing partner.

  • Curriculum Development:

o Evaluating Curriculum Lab.

o Asking curriculum development.

o Propose meeting.

o Provide reports, proposals to the managing partner.

  • Learning process:

o Develop a learning mechanism in the lab

o Develop a learning schedule.

o Evaluate the learning process.

o Ensure learning process.

o Provide reports, proposals to the managing partner.

  • Finance & Facilities:

o Develop RKAT of Taxation Lab.

o Coordinate with the finance department.

o Report, propose to the managing partner of the facilitation and laboratory needs.

Learning process

The mechanisms of learning Taxation in the laboratory using a system of working groups. The working group is a group of students participating in each course of taxation laboratory. The working group was chaired by the Chairman and Vice Chairman. Chairman and Vice Chairman jointly determined by group members with the approval and consideration of the course instructors. The Working Group consists of:

  • Managing Partner 1 person
  • Partner 5 persons
  • Manager 1 person
  • Supervisor 2 persons
  • Employees 7 persons

In each of the operational implementation of the work process in the laboratory, it will be involved by managing partner, partner, manager (student), supervisor (student) and employees (students). The tasks of each group operational work are as follows:

  1. Managing Partner / Chief Partner:

o Do the job of coordination among partners.

o Ensure process jobs running.

o Accommodating and decide the issue at the level of partner.

  1. Partner:

o Serves the preparation schedule.

o Describe the phase of work to the manager.

o Supervise managers, supervisors, employees work in an orderly manner.

o Report the necessary requirements to the partners that serves to facilitate lab.

o Answer the problem of managers, supervisors, employees.

o Report unanswered problems or issues to managing partner.

o Sign Manager’s handiwork.

  1. Managers:

o Develop phase of work together with the supervisor.

o Report a problem issue to a partner.

o Submit the work to partners.

o Ensure that supervisors and employees working as it should.

o Monitor attendance.

o Give sifnature to each job.

  1. Supervisor:

o Assist the manager in drafting phase of work.

o Ensure employees working as they should.

o Report problems to the manager.

o Provide input to the manager.

o Give sifnature to each job.

  1. Employees:

o Ensure all work is carried out properly.

o Report problems to the manager.

o Advise the supervisor.

o Give sifnature to each job.

Facilities

The existing facilities at the Laboratory of Taxation are:

  • Room

It located in VA.606 at Administration and Laboratory Building Vocational Program.

  • Tables and chairs. Tables are provided as many as 11 following a work desk chair for each member of the working group, a conference table that can accommodate 11 people meeting participants following 11 seats, plus one table for a printer, scanner, dispensers and office stationery.
  • Cabinet

There is 4 units used to store Worksheet, Sheets Assessment, Attendance, Module, as well as other Taxation materials.

  • Computers

Computers provided as many as 11 computers for each member of the working group. The computer devices using 20-inch screen, for each member of the working group will process the data to excel taxation which has a very wide number of fields. Computing devices are also all in one computer that is fused between CPU and Monitor so it does not take up much space and practical in terms of maintenance.

  • Printer and scanner. Printer provided is laserjet printer that has a scanner capability, as required by the working group members to scan documents – tax documents required in the learning process.
  • Electronic Typewriters and Manual Typewriter. Electronic typewriter is required at the time of the working group members filled the Tax Payment documents that have been provided by the Tax Office as well as other documents that the forms have been provided by the Directorate General of Taxation.
  • Infocus and blackboard. For presentation purposes, there is Infocus with a complete input port that has the form of HDMI, Video and Audio because in addition to presentation of the working group members, InFocus is also used to deliver instructional video material taxation. There is whiteboard double face with a size of 120×180 cm.
